A finely made silver plated salver tray by the renowned English silversmith Walker & Hall, featuring an elegant Art Deco quatrefoil form raised on four substantial bun feet. Produced in Sheffield, England circa 1940, the tray embodies the restrained sophistication and architectural symmetry that defined the Art Deco period.
Its softly stepped edges and sculptural silhouette give the piece a refined presence whether used for entertaining or displayed as part of a layered tabletop arrangement. The polished silver plated surface reflects candlelight beautifully, making it particularly striking on a bar, console, or dining table.
Heavy in hand and exceptionally well crafted, the tray works equally well serving cocktails, aperitifs, or desserts, while also functioning beautifully as a decorative centerpiece layered with crystal, silver, or collected objects.
Stamped with Walker & Hall maker’s marks for Sheffield, England c.1940.
