This bracelet is composed of oval links carved with a twisted rope texture, each one joined to the next by a sculpted, bone shaped connector in smooth silver. The contrast between the rope textured ovals and the polished connectors gives the chain a bold, sculptural rhythm.
The links are substantial and sit with real weight on the wrist, yet the open ovals keep the piece from feeling heavy. The rope carving is crisp and deep, catching the light in fine, spiraling lines around each ring.
At 7 1/2 inches, the bracelet closes with a bar style clasp that lies flat against the wrist. The sterling silver carries a soft patina in the grooves of the twist, which enhances the texture and gives the piece a settled, well worn character.
A strong statement bracelet that works alone or stacked with plainer chains, and a good example of rope inspired design in silver.
