This vintage bracelet is built from elongated U shaped links in sterling silver, each pair joined at a coiled wire wrap that binds the ends together like a whipped rope end. The repeating coils give the chain a distinctly nautical character, echoing the wrapped fittings found on ship rigging rather than a conventional jewelry link.
The open U shapes interlock in a continuous zigzag down the length of the bracelet, giving it real movement and flexibility on the wrist despite the substantial gauge of the wire. The silver shows a deep, oxidized patina in the coils and joints, with brighter highlights along the smooth curves of each link where handling has kept the metal polished.
At 9 inches, it is a generous length with a relaxed drape, and closes with a simple hook clasp that mirrors the hand forged look of the rest of the piece. The overall effect is rugged and tactile rather than delicate, well suited to everyday wear.
A distinctive vintage sterling silver bracelet for anyone drawn to nautical and maritime motifs in jewelry.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
