Vintage Campari Ceramic Ashtray Vide Poche in Powder Blue
Found in United States
A bold vintage Campari ceramic ashtray, featuring the iconic Italian aperitivo's unmistakable red logo against a soft powder blue ground. With its sculptural circular form and four cigarette rests, this piece effortlessly bridges the worlds of advertising memorabilia, Italian design, and decorative ceramics.
Originally produced as promotional barware, the ashtray embodies the playful visual identity that helped establish Campari as one of the world's most recognizable beverage brands. The oversized typography wraps around the rim, transforming a functional object into a striking piece of graphic design that feels just as contemporary today as when it was produced.
Beyond its original purpose, this versatile piece functions beautifully as a vide poche, catchall, or decorative accent for a bar cart, coffee table, entry console, or office desk. Whether used to hold keys, watches, cufflinks, matches, or loose change, it brings an unmistakable touch of vintage Italian charm to any interior.
Increasingly sought after by collectors of advertising memorabilia and mid-century barware, authentic Campari promotional pieces remain enduring favorites for their vibrant color, timeless branding, and everyday usability.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
