An elegant and quietly poetic set from Van Cleef & Arpels, featuring two porcelain tea cups paired with a sculptural double saucer. Rendered in a soft, minimalist palette, each piece is adorned with delicate dragonfly silhouettes subtle, almost ephemeral, as if captured mid-flight.

The design leans into restraint: fine white porcelain serves as a canvas for the muted tonal motif, allowing light and shadow to animate the dragonflies across the surface. The double saucer, thoughtfully formed to cradle both cups, introduces a sense of symmetry and shared ritual an object designed for two, rather than one.

There is a certain lightness to the set, both visually and in spirit refined without excess, and distinctly aligned with Van Cleef & Arpels’ appreciation for nature, movement, and quiet detail.

Collectors Notes

Van Cleef & Arpels has long drawn inspiration from the natural world—often translating it into jewelry. Here, that same sensibility carries into the table, where the dragonfly becomes a fleeting, almost symbolic presence.

This set lends itself beautifully to intimate moments—morning tea for two, an afternoon pause, or even as a display piece within a cabinet of curated objects. It also makes an exceptional gift—particularly for collectors who appreciate crossover between fashion houses and home.

For a more unexpected use, the cups can serve as vessels for small arrangements or bedside catchalls, while the saucer becomes a base for jewelry or keys.

It makes an exceptional Housewarming Gifts or Wedding Gifts pick, full of natural inspiration.

Who Are You Buying From?

Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
