A striking piece of Southwestern silver, this watch cuff is built around a winged dancer figure on each side of the watch, the outstretched wings and feathered headdress raised against a deeply stamped, oxidized ground. Beneath each figure sits a row of three round turquoise cabochons in simple bezels, their clear sky blue color bright against the darkened silver.

The detail continues toward the ends of the cuff, where two applied arrows point down past a stamped zigzag and finish at a radiating sun symbol. Scalloped borders and small stamped flowers fill the spaces between, giving the band a layered, hand worked surface that rewards a closer look. The silver carries an even, natural patina that sharpens the contrast between the raised figures and the recessed ground.

The cuff comes fitted with a Timex Quartz watch, with a cream dial, black script Arabic numerals, and a date window at three, held between two rolled silver end caps. The watch is a clean, understated pairing that keeps the attention on the silverwork, and the cuff is the real centerpiece here. It can be worn as is or refitted with a watch head of your choosing.

Dating to the mid to late 20th century, the piece reflects the long tradition of Southwestern silversmiths incorporating figural and dance motifs into wearable silver. Fitting approximately a 6 3/4" wrist, including a 1" gap, and measuring 1 1/8" wide at its widest point, it has genuine presence without feeling oversized.

A bold and well made piece for collectors of Southwestern jewelry or anyone drawn to watch cuffs with real sculptural character.

Collectors Notes

The dancer figure here has a real sense of motion to it, which is not always easy to pull off in a flat repousse design. It fits naturally within our vintage watches collection, and pairs well with pieces from our estate jewelry edit.

Who Are You Buying From?

Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
