Pierre D’Avesn for Daum Clear Crystal Art Deco Glass Vase (France, c. 1930s)
A luminous and sculptural example of French Art Deco artistry, this rare crystal vase was designed by Pierre D’Avesn for Daum in the early 20th century. Known for his textural glasswork and dramatic silhouettes, D’Avesn worked with iconic houses such as Daum and Lalique. This 7-inch vessel, cast in thick, clear frosted crystal, showcases a textured body and six sweeping scroll handles each one catching the light like icy ribbon. The vase feels both architectural and romantic, embodying the height of Deco-era French elegance.
Highly collectible, this piece is a testament to the refined design vocabulary that defined interwar French glassmaking. A museum-worthy find that bridges sculptural form with everyday function.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
