A refined example of midcentury English glassmaking, this footed caviar service dish pairs deeply cut crystal with a fitted gilt metal rim. The pedestal bowl is cut in a bold diamond and fan motif that catches light from every facet, rising from a scalloped, star cut foot typical of quality English crystal of the period.
Crowning the rim is a brass toned double ring fitting, hinged at two points and designed to cradle a liner bowl at its center so caviar or garnish could be nestled over ice while served from the crystal base beneath. The fitting shows light age appropriate wear to the gilding, adding warmth rather than detracting from the piece.
Made in England and sourced in the United States, this dish carries the weight and crispness of traditional English cut crystal, hand finished with the kind of attention that defined midcentury tableware production. At a compact 6 x 6 x 6 inches, it is equally suited to a proper caviar presentation, a dish of olives or nuts, or as a small decorative catchall on a bar cart or vanity.
A versatile, collectible piece for anyone drawn to the ritual of fine entertaining.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
