Just Andersen Disko Metal Lidded Art Deco Box
A sculptural lidded box by Danish designer Just Andersen, crafted in his signature “Disko” metal with a warm patinated finish and architectural silhouette. Raised on cylindrical corner posts and topped with a sharply pitched lid crowned by a finial, the design reflects Andersen’s distinctive balance of functionalism and decorative restraint that helped define early 20th century Scandinavian metalwork.
The interior is lined in wood, offering a subtle contrast to the moody exterior patina and reinforcing the object’s sense of craftsmanship and utility. Compact in scale yet visually substantial, the form feels equally at home on a desk, cocktail table, bedside, or shelving vignette.
Stamped to the underside with the Just Andersen maker’s mark.
Patina throughout commensurate with age.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
