Jaw Harp Instrument
This is a vintage jaw/mouth harp and when I found this item, I truly had no idea what it was. But I loved the shape, design, and weight. It also didn’t hurt that it was signed “Smith” on one side, and “England” on the other. When I was checking out, the lady at the counter informed me that this was actually a jaw/mouth harp. When I looked up videos of people using it to play music online, I was totally fascinated. This is not something you will see every day, nor find at many antique shops. If you’re a music lover, or just looking for something to put on a bookshelf, this is a great item with a ton of history. This is a vintage item and is subject to have patina.
