Italian Green Faceted Glass Bowl with Silver (800) Rim - Italy 20th Century
A striking example of mid-century Italian glassmaking, this vintage glass bowl pairs sculptural clarity with a refined, unexpected accent of silver.
Crafted in Italy, the bowl features a substantial, faceted form rendered in a luminous aqua-toned glass. Each cut surface catches and refracts light differently, creating depth and movement across the piece from the starburst pattern at its base to the softly beveled sides.
Encircling the rim is a decorative silver (800) band, delicately engraved with a repeating motif that adds a layer of structure and contrast to the fluidity of the glass. The pairing feels distinctly Italian equal parts precision and ornament, restraint and flourish.
Low and generously proportioned, the form lends itself beautifully to a variety of uses, though it carries just as much presence when left unfilled an object defined as much by light as by material.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
