A rare vintage Hermes catchall from 1960s France, crafted in silver plate and distinguished by its sculptural horse head handle, an enduring symbol of the maison's equestrian heritage. The shallow, round dish sweeps smoothly up to a gently curved handle that ends in a finely modeled horse head, with expressive detailing in the mane, ears and muzzle.

Made by Maison Ravinet d'Enfert for Hermes and marked Hermes Paris and Made in France, the piece reflects the refined sporting sensibility that defined so many of Hermes' mid century decorative objects and tabletop accessories. The wide, open bowl gives it real versatility, and it serves beautifully as a desk catchall, a bar accessory, a jewelry tray or a decorative accent within a layered interior.

Measuring 6 3/4 x 5 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches, it is a generous size for keys, cufflinks, watches or a few well chosen matchbooks, yet it stays compact enough for a console, nightstand or coffee table.
