Found in United States

This Hermes bottle coaster is finished in silver plate and set with four sculptural horse heads positioned around the perimeter, creating an elegant equestrian motif that has become one of Hermes's most recognizable tableware designs.

Expertly crafted in France, this substantial coaster was designed to cradle a wine, champagne, or spirits bottle while protecting fine surfaces from condensation. The sculptural horse heads provide both visual interest and a nod to Hermes's enduring equestrian heritage, transforming a practical entertaining accessory into a refined decorative object. Alternatively marketed as a trivet, it can be used to rest under a pot.

Increasingly difficult to find, this coaster represents the timeless craftsmanship and understated luxury that define the maison. Whether displayed on a bar, used during dinner service, or gifted to a devoted Hermes collector, it is equally at home in traditional and contemporary interiors.

Sold Individually.

Collectors Notes

Originally intended for a wine or champagne bottle, and possibly a trivet, this coaster also works beautifully beneath an ice bucket, carafe, decanter, candle hurricane, cachepot, or even as a sculptural tabletop accent on its own. Pieces like this are becoming increasingly difficult to source, making it an especially desirable addition for Hermes collectors and lovers of refined entertaining.

It's a fitting addition to our Vintage Hermes and Barware collections, and a rare Wedding Gifts pick.

Who Are You Buying From?

Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
