This Hermes desk tray takes an elongated, gently curved form finished in polished chrome, with a textured woven pattern running down the center of the tray's length to give a bit of grip and visual interest against the plain, mirror bright borders on either side. The narrow, tapered shape keeps it discreet on a desk while still offering real surface area for pens, cufflinks, or other small items.
At one end, a golf ball rendered in precise, dimpled detail sits nestled against the tray's curved lip, an unmistakable and playful nod to the sport rather than a subtle motif. The contrast between the smooth chrome tray and the textured golf ball surface gives the piece real tactile and visual interest.
The tray's gentle upward curve at each end keeps small items from rolling off, making it as functional as it is decorative, while the golf ball detail turns what could have been a purely utilitarian object into a genuine conversation piece.
Made in France and measuring 9 7/8 x 1 3/4 inches, this is a distinctive desk accessory for a golf enthusiast or anyone drawn to Hermes's more playful, sport inspired objects.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
