Hermes Deep Green Lacquer & Gilt Brass Belt Motif Box
Found in United States
A rare and highly refined vintage Hermes box finished in a rich deep-green lacquer with elegant gilt-brass trim and a striking belt motif stretching across the lid. Architectural in form yet quietly understated, the piece embodies the restrained sophistication that has long defined Hermes decorative objects.
The contrast between the glossy lacquer surface and warm brass detailing gives the box a distinctly tailored appearance almost reminiscent of fine equestrian leatherwork translated into object form. Inside, the cedar-lined interior adds an additional layer of craftsmanship and functionality, making it ideal for storing jewelry, cufflinks, watches, correspondence, or treasured keepsakes.
Equally suited for a desk, cocktail table, or dressing area, this rare Hermes piece functions as both a practical storage object and a sculptural decorative accent.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
