A fine example of Gucci's foray into fine silver desk accessories, this folding picture frame pairs sterling silver panels with a warm vermeil border, the rose gold tone edge giving the piece a bit of extra richness against the bright silver field. Two hinged panels fold together into a compact, book like case, designed originally so that photographs of loved ones could travel comfortably alongside their owner.
Open flat, the frame displays two photographs side by side, making it a natural choice for a paired portrait or two favorite images shown together. Closed, it becomes a neat, protected object that slips easily into a bag or desk drawer, the vermeil trim catching the light even in its folded state.
Measuring 1.75" x 2.25" per panel, the frame is compact by design, at home equally on a desk, a bookshelf, or a bedside table. Gucci's silver objects from this era are prized for the same attention to material and finish the house is known for elsewhere, and this frame is a good example of that quality applied to something genuinely useful.
A well made and versatile little object, equally suited to travel, display, or simply keeping a favorite photograph close at hand.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
