A rare and wonderfully sculptural Gucci wolf head paperweight or paperclip dating to the 1970s, executed in heavy gauge silver plated brass with beautifully expressive detailing throughout the face and fur.

The piece captures the whimsical sophistication that defined many of Gucci’s decorative desk and lifestyle objects during the era balancing playful animal motifs with distinctly Italian glamour. The fox head is rendered with exaggerated eyes, deeply textured fur, and softly aged silver plating that gives the object remarkable character and depth.
