Gucci Folding Blue Leather Travel Shoehorn

Found in Japan

A rare vintage Gucci folding travel shoehorn, combining polished metal with the house’s signature leather craftsmanship in a compact pocket-sized design. Created as a refined gentleman’s travel accessory, the shoehorn folds neatly into its leather-covered handle, allowing it to be easily slipped into a suitcase, briefcase, or overnight bag.

The handle is wrapped in navy leather, while the polished metal shoehorn is marked GUCCI near its hinged mechanism. Accompanying the piece is its original-style fitted leather carrying case, embossed throughout with Gucci’s iconic GG monogram and finished with a snap closure.

The folding construction is particularly clever: opened, it functions as a traditional shoehorn; folded, the metal portion is protected and the accessory becomes compact enough for travel. It represents the kind of beautifully made, highly specific personal accessory that defined Gucci’s luxury leather goods beyond handbags and luggage.
