A sculptural and quietly whimsical bottle opener by Gucci, cast in heavy gauge silver plated brass and formed as an expressive dog’s head. The piece carries a tactile, almost hand-worked quality—its textured surface and elongated snout lending it both character and presence.

More than a utilitarian object, this is a small study in form. The weight in hand feels deliberate, while the figural design reflects Gucci’s longstanding affinity for animal motifs—objects that blur the line between function and collectible design.

Equally at home on a bar or styled within a vignette, it offers a subtle nod to heritage and playfulness without ever feeling overt.

Collectors Notes

There’s an ease to pieces like this. It lives comfortably on a bar tray, tucked beside a decanter or resting atop a stack of books. Even when not in use, it reads as an object of curiosity—something discovered rather than purchased.

It also makes for a particularly thoughtful gift. Personal, but not predictable.

It's a fitting addition to our Vintage Gucci and Barware collections, and a personal Luxury Gifts for Men pick.

Who Are You Buying From?

Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
