A substantial green marble lidded box featuring dramatic natural veining in deep forest, charcoal, and soft white tones.

Carved from solid marble with a minimalist rectangular silhouette, the piece balances architectural restraint with the richness of natural stone. The integrated curved handle gives the box a sculptural quality while maintaining a clean and timeless profile.

Its weight and material presence make it especially suited for a desk, bedside table, bar, or dressing room — equally functional as a jewelry, cufflink, card, or keepsake box.

Every angle reveals unique marbling and mineral movement, making this a singular decorative object with strong modernist appeal.

Collectors Notes

Stone objects have a quiet permanence to them — especially pieces like this that rely almost entirely on proportion, weight, and material rather than ornament.

This box feels reminiscent of the sophisticated desk accessories and vanity objects found in Italian interiors of the 1970s and 1980s, where marble was used not only decoratively, but architecturally.

Beautiful styled on a cocktail table holding matches or cards, on a desk with correspondence, or in a dressing room for jewelry and watches. It also works wonderfully layered beside silver, lacquer, or darker woods where the veining becomes especially striking.

A refined and highly versatile decorative object that brings texture and depth into a space without overwhelming it.

It's a fitting addition to our Home Decor collection, and a textural Housewarming Gifts pick.

Who Are You Buying From?

Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
