A delicately rendered graphite drawing capturing a quiet moment between two dogs—a reclining greyhound, elegant and alert, and a spirited poodle perched playfully on its haunches. They’re set within a softly detailed woodland landscape, where a parrot perches in the branches above, and leafy flora and wild ground cover surround them. The scene has a tranquil, almost enchanted stillness, evoking the intimacy of a garden once lived in and now observed.
Executed in fine, linear strokes with soft gradation, the work shows a strong hand for both anatomy and atmosphere. Likely drawn by a European artist in the mid 20th century, it captures a timeless, almost fabled view of rural life, one in which animals seem to share a quiet understanding across species.
Framed and ready to hang.
Provenance: Property from a Bunny Williams decorated 5th Avenue Estate

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
