A rare vintage French escargot service for six by Jean Couzon Orfèvre, presented in its original fitted box and appearing unused. Designed specifically for the traditional French presentation and enjoyment of escargot, the set combines purpose-built serving pieces with the sleek, polished stainless steel aesthetic for which Couzon became known.
The centerpiece is a round escargot serving platter with twelve individual wells, designed to securely cradle the shells while keeping their garlic and herb butter contained during serving. Accompanying the platter are six specialized escargot forks with slender two-prong tips, along with six pairs of escargot tongs, engineered to grip the shell while the meat is removed with the fork.
Made in France by Jean Couzon, the set has a wonderfully specialized quality—an entire service devoted to one of the most recognizable rituals of French dining. Its original presentation box makes the set particularly appealing for collectors of vintage French tableware, culinary objects, and unusual entertaining pieces.
A rare and collectible example of French serveware that feels equally at home in a traditional dining room or incorporated into a more contemporary table setting.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
