A charming vintage French Art Deco sugar bowl, distinguished by a wonderfully architectural combination of polished silver plate and dark turned wood. The cylindrical body is detailed with a series of fine horizontal bands around its lower half and raised on a stepped circular foot.

The two petite side handles are particularly distinctive, modeled in a stylized shell or scallop form that brings a subtle decorative flourish to the otherwise streamlined silhouette.
