A striking example of 1980s Italian Postmodern design, this signed Murano Scavo art glass bottle was created by renowned Venetian glassmaker Franco Moretti. Featuring a softly frosted cobalt blue body with an elegant elongated silhouette, the bottle is crowned by a contrasting emerald green stopper resting upon a smoked glass collar, creating a dramatic interplay of color and form.
Executed using the Scavo technique developed to evoke the weathered appearance of ancient excavated glass the bottle possesses a velvety, matte surface that diffuses light beautifully while celebrating Murano's centuries-old glassmaking traditions through a distinctly modern lens.
Its sculptural proportions make it equally compelling displayed as a standalone object or grouped with other Murano vessels. Moretti's work is increasingly appreciated for bridging classical Venetian craftsmanship with the bold experimentation of late twentieth-century Italian design.
Signed by the artist.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
