Christofle Wine Grading Oenology Disc
A remarkable piece of functional design and oenological history, this silverplated Christofle wine grading disc is a unique tool for collectors and wine connoisseurs alike. Designed with a rotating dial mechanism, the disc reveals the wine rating for each vintage year from 1961 through 2002, across key French wine regions.
Engraved with names of France’s most iconic wine-growing areas including Alsace, Champagne, Bordeaux (Blanc Liquoreux & Rouge), Bourgogne (Blanc and Rouge), Côtes du Rhône, and Loire this disc allows users to turn the inner dial to a specific year and instantly see a wine rating out of 20 for each region.
Crafted with Christofle's signature precision and refinement, it is both a handsome decorative object and a sophisticated conversation piece that blends wine expertise with timeless design. Whether displayed on a desk, bar, or tasting table, this rare item is as insightful as it is collectible.

Who Are You Buying From?
Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
