Christofle's Gigogne coffee pot is a contemporary reissue of a genuine design landmark, originally created in 1926 by Danish silversmith Christian Fjerdingstad and nicknamed "the Stork" for its distinctive silhouette. This stacked set pairs a silver plated coffee pot with a matching creamer and sugar dish, each finished with rich wood handles that give the otherwise sleek silver forms a warm, tactile contrast.

The stacking arrangement is as much a design statement as a practical one, allowing the three pieces to nest together into a single, sculptural column when not in use. Poured, each piece reveals the same confident geometry that made Fjerdingstad's original so influential, clean cylindrical bodies, sharply angled spouts, and disc shaped wood handles that read as almost architectural against the polished silver.

Christofle has periodically revisited its archival designs, and the Gigogne reissue brings one of the house's most recognizable early modernist pieces back into daily use, with all the quality and finish the maison is known for today.
