A beautifully proportioned antique champagne bucket by John Grinsell & Sons of Sheffield, England, combining richly cut glass with elegant silver plated mounts and handles. Dating to circa 1910, the piece embodies the refined entertaining traditions of the Edwardian period.
The tall glass body is decorated in a molded diamond pattern with dimpled detailing that catches and refracts light beautifully, while the silver plated rim and scrolling handles provide a sophisticated finishing touch. An additional silver plated insert allows bottles to sit securely while maintaining the graceful profile of the bucket.
Whether used tableside chilling champagne or styled permanently on a bar cart, the piece carries the timeless glamour associated with antique entertaining objects. Sold in original plate with only minimal wear consistent with age.
British made with maker’s marks for John Grinsell & Sons, Sheffield.
