A clever and genuinely useful bar accessory from Cartier, this cork saver pairs two gilt spikes joined by a fine chain, designed to hold the cork in place around the neck of a bottle once it has been opened. Rather than setting a loose cork aside where it can wander off or pick up dust, this keeps it tethered and ready for the next pour.

The gilt finish gives the piece a bit of shine on a bar cart or dining table, and the design is simple enough to use without a second thought, spike the cork, hook the other end around the bottle neck, and continue the evening. It is the kind of small, considered object that makes an evening of wine feel a touch more deliberate.

Measuring 9" in length, the chain has enough give to work comfortably with most standard bottle necks. Cartier's foray into barware accessories like this one reflects the same attention to detail found across the house's better known jewelry and leather goods, scaled down into something genuinely practical for entertaining.

A fun, functional piece for any wine lover, and a distinctive addition to a well stocked bar.

Who Are You Buying From?

Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
