A sculptural vintage bronze vide poche cast in the form of a broad serrated leaf. The silhouette has been carefully modeled to capture the irregular pointed edges of the leaf, while subtle veins travel across the recessed surface and give the otherwise dark composition a quiet sense of naturalism.

The bronze has developed an especially handsome deep patina, appearing nearly black in areas with subtle undertones of green and oxidized bronze emerging across the surface.
