A distinctive piece of automobilia, this letter opener is topped with a faithful reproduction of Bentley's celebrated "Flying B" hood ornament, its double wing silhouette rendered in crisp, finely detailed silver plate. Made in Sheffield, England, a city long associated with fine silverware production, the piece dates to the 1990s and reproduces a design originally created for Bentley's radiator caps in the 1930s.

The winged emblem sits atop a clean, tapering blade, the two forms joined so that the mascot reads as a natural extension of the opener rather than an applied afterthought. The wings are finished with fine engraved detailing that mimics individual feathers, giving the piece real sculptural presence despite its everyday function.

The opener is presented in its original crimson velvet fitted box, the lid stamped in silver with the same winged emblem, a nice detail for anyone who values complete presentation. Measuring 7.25" long, with the box itself measuring 8", it makes a genuinely handsome desk accessory or a considered gift for anyone with a fondness for vintage motoring history.

A well made piece of automobilia that brings a touch of prewar British motoring elegance to an everyday desk object.

Who Are You Buying From?

Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
